Working as an ADI provides independence, flexible working hours and above all, a degree of security that most other careers cannot offer. It also provides job satisfaction particularly after your pupils pass their driving test due largely to your ability as an instructor. We have been in one of the worst recessions in many years but at Kelvin White driving school we have gone from strength to strength and the number of new pupils continue to grow Month on month. Because we have a policy of recruiting from within our own training program ,we need a supply of new and enthusiastic instructors to service this demand. If you are becoming self employed for the first time, you will find it a totally different environment to what you are used to. Being your own boss can be a rewarding experience, to keep the money that you earn through your hard work (and to take days off and holidays whenever you decide without having to consult with work colleagues is a major benefit). Days off and holidays still need to planned in advance.You may feel as though you would like to work some evenings or weekends and have a day(s) off in the week; you choose the hours and days that you would like to work. The down side is no sick or holiday pay. We will give you help and advice to get you started in your new career.
